NCCOAST Wins Three PICA Awards
NCCOAST
Communications has won three Printing Industry of the Carolinas (PICA)
Awards. NCCOAST won for the 29th annual Yamaha Contender Atlantic
Beach King Mackerel Tournament Program, the recipient of the 48th
annual Printing Industry of the Carolinas (PICA) Best of Category Award for
four or more color program; best of category in coating & film lamination
for the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores Overview Map and best
of category for one, two or three color reports for the Carolina Postal
Credit Union's 2007 Annual Report.
The Printing Industry of
the Carolinas (PICA) Awards are the most prestigious symbol of printing
excellence throughout North and South Carolina. Entries are judged on the
quality of printing, degree of difficulty and technical expertise including
registration, ink coverage, density of solids, dot structure, paper usage,
finishing techniques and overall visual appearance.

Topsail Coaster Celebrates
15 Years
NCCOAST Communications' Topsail Coaster Magazine celebrates its
15th anniversary in 2008. This annual visitors and vacation guide
detailing the Greater Topsail Area is requested from people all over the
country
via the regional information website

as they plan their summer vacations.
Topsail Coaster is also sent out to eight welcome centers across North
Carolina, as well as to regional tourism and visitor centers and various
Chambers of Commerce in North Carolina. This is in addition to the many
terrific distribution locations in and around the Greater Topsail Area.

Awards
The Crystal Coast Quality of Life
Awards program has recently been created to recognize volunteer organizations or
groups within the community that are helping to make a difference at the
grassroots level to enhance the quality of life in Carteret County. Sponsored by
the Carteret County Chamber of Commerce, the Carteret County Association of
REALTORS and NCCOAST Communications, the Crystal Coast Quality of Life Awards
spotlight charitable and worthwhile projects that contribute in some way toward
the betterment of the community.

to the USPS database to verify that there is
a physical address at the place you are sending
to. We then add the +4 info to the ZIP code
for reduced cost and increased speed.

We can check for duplicates in your list and
automatically remove them.

We print directly on the piece for a more professional

Mail Center File Types
It is important for all address lists to be
received by the NCCOAST Mail Center in the proper
format for conversion to our mailing software.
Our software is updated each quarter in accordance
with US Postal regulations, and completes the
following operations:

Performs address corrections in accordance
with the latest USPS database which
insures your mail, whether first-class
or standard (bulk), will be properly
delivered. |

|
Performs duplicate check based on the
above address correction and eliminates
those duplicates which means that you
are not paying postage for mailing extra
pieces. |
|
|
Addresses your piece using the proper
USPS address standards and bar-code
which means a faster flow through the
mail system. |
Therefore, any mailing list received by NCCOAST
that is not in the proper format means extra
time and expense for you the customer and reduces
the amount of savings you were to realize by
using our mailing services. Listed below are
the most common file types that our Mail Center
software can convert easily with little human
intervention and at no cost to you:
All files should have the following minimum
information and fields: (a) First Name (b)
Last Name or Name containing First &
Last (c)
1st Address line (d)
2nd Address line (e) City by itself (f)
State by itself (g) Zip Code by itself
and either 5 or 9 digit. If 9 digit, separate
with a dash.
Additional information and fields that are acceptable:
(a)
Salutation (b)
Company.
The following common file formats can be used
directly by are Mail Center software and should
be used to forward your mailing lists if at
all possible to avoid lengthy delays and additional
costs:
