FTP Guidelines

For those who would like to electronically transfer files directly to our systems, NCCOAST Communications accepts files via FTP. Please call ahead of time in order for us to set-up an account for your use (1-800-525-1403).

What is FTP?
The ftp protocol is used to provide file transfer services across a wide variety of systems through the use of the File Transfer Protocol (FTP). The remote directory structure is displayed in the same way local files and directories are displayed in Windows. You can use the standard point and click techniques to browse directories as well as to select multiple files for transfer in either direction.

There are two options for sending us files using FTP:

Your Browser (Internet Explorer 5x or Netscape Navigator 4x) Earlier versions do not support FTP.
Dedicated FTP software (WS_FTP etc)

Rules for use of FTP Site:

Use of the NCCOAST Communications FTP services is strictly for our clients only and is monitored.
Please use compression software (WinZip) if sending numerous or large files.
We are PC platform solely. Contact us if you are sending a Mac file.
Please include all accompanying files for the document (art files, bitmaps, scans, fonts, etc.), and fax us a hardcopy of your file (toll free fax 1-877-247-1856).
Make sure to send an email notifying us of your upload or of any problems.
Should you have problems, please contact our Internet Department at 1-800-525-1403 and we'll help answer any questions that may arise.
